Battlefield doing long-term support while CoD still drops yearly feels like two totally different mindsets
Seeing Battlefield 6 talk about sticking with one game into 2026 is interesting when Call of Duty is still on the yearly cycle.
Battlefield seems to be going: “let’s make one game and actually build on it.”
CoD is more: “new one every year, keep it moving.”
Not even saying one is better, it’s just a huge difference. With CoD it always feels like you’re about to reset again. With Battlefield, if they don’t mess it up, at least your time might actually matter long-term.
Big if, obviously.
Curious what people prefer — slow + supported, or fast + fresh?
